The Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro, unveiled in 2021, represents an innovative take on Plasencia’s original Alma Fuerte range. This line is characterized predominantly by its distinct wrapper choice. Unlike the original line’s darker cover leaf, the Colorado Claro opts for a significantly lighter wrapper. This variation, known as the Colorado claro, is meticulously cultivated in the fertile soils of Jalapa. Undergoing an extensive aging process of ten years, this wrapper imbues the cigars with a unique depth and complexity of flavor.
Careful adjustments have been made to the Colorado Claro’s blend to harmonize with its lighter wrapper while maintaining the signature all-Nicaraguan tobacco profile that the Plasencia family is renowned for.
