Tracing the lineage of the Partagás Serie D No. 4 takes us back to the 1930s, with the inception of the Partagás Alphabet Series. This series initially featured a diverse range of sizes. However, by the 1970s, Serie D No. 4 emerged as the sole survivor of this once-extensive line. Fast forward to 2005, and Habanos S.A., the Cuban state-owned tobacco company, decided to breathe new life into the series, adding four new sizes to the lineup.

Despite the passage of time, the red bands of these cigars have remained essentially unchanged, a testament to their timeless appeal.
