Fratello Cigars is set to release the third installment of its Concealed Carry series, aptly named Speakeasy, which will be available in select stores later this week. The series, known for its limited-edition, small-batch offerings, continues to build on its tribute to the Prohibition era with cigars that evoke the clandestine spirit of the time.
Speakeasy follows the previous two releases in the Concealed Carry series: 18th Amendment, which debuted in April, and Detroit River, which hit shelves in July. Like its predecessors, Speakeasy is a 5 1/4 x 54 robusto extra, though the specific blend remains undisclosed. Each cigar will be priced at $10, continuing the series’ commitment to premium, yet accessible pricing.
Packaging details for Speakeasy have not yet been officially confirmed, but if it follows the pattern set by the earlier releases, the cigar may come in a 12-count jar. For both 18th Amendment and Detroit River, only 1,000 jars were produced, which speaks to the highly limited nature of the Concealed Carry series.
According to a press release from Fratello Cigars, the Concealed Carry series will consist of six different cigars, each featuring unique branding and crafted from “limited one-time production blends curated from undisclosed factories in the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua.” This ensures each release in the series is distinct, offering cigar aficionados a rare and exclusive smoking experience.

Fratello has also revealed that only 75 select retailers across the country will carry the Concealed Carry line, further enhancing the mystique and exclusivity surrounding this series.
Omar de Frias, CEO and founder of Fratello Cigars, elaborated on the inspiration behind the Speakeasy release, saying, “This small batch pays tribute to the hidden bars of the Prohibition era, where likeminded people gathered in secret to enjoy cigars and spirits. The Speakeasy release is meant to capture that spirit of defiance and camaraderie.”
The Concealed Carry series is quickly becoming known for its nod to American history and the rebellious undertones of the Prohibition era. With three cigars already launched and three more to come, cigar enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating how Fratello will continue to weave historical references with exceptional craftsmanship.
For those looking to get their hands on this limited-edition release, the time to act is now, as supplies are expected to move quickly once they hit stores. Keep an eye out for Speakeasy at participating retailers and get ready to experience another chapter in the story of Fratello’s Concealed Carry series.
