CNN: Cordoba & Morales Tasting | Cigar News Network

Welcome to the first-ever Cigar News Network (CNN) broadcast, where we bring you real and authentic news from the heart of the cigar industry. I’m Mark Nikollaj, and joining me is Alexander Gonzalez, reporting from CNN. Before we delve into the highlights of our cigar tasting at the Cordoba & Morales Warehouse in Apopka, Florida, let’s clarify that we are not affiliated with the “fake news” media. Our mission is to provide you with genuine insights into the world of cigars.

Today, we find ourselves in the heart of Florida, exploring the world of premium cigars and getting an exclusive first look at an unreleased San Andreas Maduro cigar meticulously crafted by Z, a prominent figure in the industry. This cigar is still blending, making it a rare treat for aficionados who crave new experiences.

The San Andreas Maduro cigar is mysterious, revealing only that it features Nicaraguan filler and binder leaves. As the Cordoba and Morales band adorns these cigars, we are the first to share this exciting development with you.

Join us as we embark on this cigar journey with special guests and a tantalizing tasting experience. But first, let’s dive into our initial impressions of this undisclosed gem.

I’m here with CNN reporter Jared Burrows, and we’re about halfway through our San Andreas Maduro cigars. Jared, what are your first impressions?

Jared: I’m almost halfway done, and I have to say it tastes fantastic. The flavor notes are phenomenal. As someone who appreciates darker cigars, I’m thoroughly enjoying it.

Alex: It’s a bit spicy, and I’d classify it as a medium to full-bodied cigar. The draw is smooth, and the ash holds up nicely. Jared’s already making good progress on his cigar, a testament to his enjoyment. Do you think the spice is coming from the alcohol?

Jared: Surprisingly, I didn’t have any alcohol today, so it’s not the cause of the spice. However, it’s not overwhelmingly spicy, making it suitable for new smokers.

Alex: I’m picking up much spice on the retrohale, which you don’t indulge in, Jared. But rest assured, we will keep you updated on this unreleased cigar as we uncover more details.

Now, let’s meet Drew Woodall, an essential No Name Club (NNC) member, an exclusive men’s club dedicated to cigars. Drew serves as the event director for NNC and ensures that their gatherings run smoothly. He’s responsible for logistics, setup, and creating an enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Drew, tell us more about NNC and its mission.

Drew: NNC is an annual, paid, private men’s club that brings together individuals who share a passion for cigars. We have chapters in Orlando and Tampa, and our events are all about camaraderie, networking, and enjoying cigars.

Alex: How frequently do these events take place?

Drew: We host events once a month, with a staggered schedule between Orlando and Tampa. It’s an excellent opportunity for members to connect and share their love for cigars.

Alex: Lastly, Drew, what cigar are you enjoying tonight?

Drew: I’m savoring a Cordoba & Morales Cameroon wrapper cigar. It’s fantastic, and I look forward to exploring its flavors as I progress through it.

Thanks, Drew, for shedding light on the No Name Club and sharing your cigar experience.

Back to our cigar adventure, we find ourselves in the company of Z, the mastermind behind the San Andreas Maduro cigar. Z’s expertise and dedication to crafting exceptional cigars are at the heart of the Cordoba Morales brand.

We encourage those new to the world of cigars to ask questions and learn about this fascinating industry. We’ll address some of the inquiries sent in by our viewers, providing valuable insights into the world of premium cigars.
