TAA Exclusives Shipping This Week: Fuente’s Black Pink Goes Nationwide, Plus Casa Carrillo and Brick House

This is a big week for anyone who shops at a Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) store. The group’s 2026 meeting runs October 25 through 29 at Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic, and several manufacturers are shipping cigars made for TAA members right now. The headliner isn’t even a new exclusive. It’s a former one: Arturo Fuente’s Black Pink, which spent the last seven months as a TAA-only cigar, is finally heading to shops across the country.

Here’s what’s shipping this week, what we’ve confirmed about each cigar and how to find them.

Arturo Fuente Black Pink Goes Nationwide

According to halfwheel, Arturo Fuente begins shipping the Black Pink to stores nationwide this week. The full name is a mouthful: Arturo Fuente Rare Pink Vintage 1960’s Black Pink. It sits under the Hemingway brand as an offshoot of Rare Pink, and like every Hemingway, it comes only in perfecto shapes.

The blend uses a Connecticut-grown habano-seed wrapper over Dominican tobaccos. Cigar Coop describes the wrapper as a dark Connecticut Habano and says the rest of the blend includes tobacco grown at Chateau de la Fuente. Cigar Coop also notes that Black Pink is a completely different blend from the original Rare Pink, which Fuente launched in late 2020 to raise money for breast cancer research.

There are four sizes, priced per halfwheel’s listing:

• Work of Art: 4 7/8 x 46/60, boxes of 25, $14.08
• Signature: 6 x 46, boxes of 25, $15.53
• Happy Ending: 5 1/2 x 53, boxes of 10, $16.12
• Black Panther: 6 5/8 x 55, boxes of 20, $22.72

The TAA connection is how this all started. On March 13, Fuente shipped a small allotment only to TAA member stores, which halfwheel reported at the time meant about 80 retailers and closer to 200 storefronts. Fuente said back then that it would wait at least six months before a full release, and it kept its word. halfwheel says pricing hasn’t changed since March.

One note before you head to the shop: halfwheel’s March report listed the Signature at $13.53, while its new listing shows $15.53. Check the price on the shelf.

Casa Carrillo 2026 TAA Exclusive

Ernesto Perez-Carrillo pulled tobacco from five countries for this one. According to Casa Carrillo’s press release, which we received on October 23, the 2026 Casa Carrillo TAA Exclusive pairs an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and filler from the United States, Honduras, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The company calls it medium-plus in strength.

• Production: 1,000 boxes of 10
• Suggested retail: $14 per cigar ($140 per box, per halfwheel)
• Shipping: beginning this week, to TAA members only

“With the 2026 TAA Exclusive, we wanted to bring together tobaccos from different origins to create a blend with depth, character, and balance,” Perez-Carrillo said in the release. He added, “The result is a medium-plus cigar that reflects our passion for blending and our commitment to creating something special for TAA members.”

Casa Carrillo says that once the 1,000 boxes are allocated, there won’t be any more. Cigar Dojo has the same specs. Casa Carrillo has had a busy October, too. Last week we covered its Battleborn Heroes Veterans Day release.

J.C. Newman Brick House Beginnings Ciento por Ciento

J.C. Newman went back to the aging room. According to the company’s October 23 announcement, Brick House Beginnings Ciento por Ciento starts shipping this week, with 800 boxes of 10 cigars headed to TAA members across the U.S. at a suggested $12 per cigar.

It’s a Nicaraguan puro. “Ciento por ciento” means 100% in Spanish, and every leaf is Nicaraguan. The wrapper is a Habana-seed leaf from the Jalapa Valley, and the binder and filler come from three of Nicaragua’s mountain growing regions. The cigars are rolled at J.C. Newman’s PENSA factory in Estelí and have been aged for five years. Beginnings is what J.C. Newman calls “an occasional series of well-aged cigars.”

halfwheel reports that it’s a 6 1/4 x 54 and that it uses the same size and all-Nicaraguan blend as J.C. Newman’s 2019 and 2023 Ciento por Ciento TAA releases, just with a lot more age on it. J.C. Newman’s own announcement doesn’t list a size. J.C. Newman told halfwheel the cigars are ready to ship, and halfwheel expects them on shelves starting the first week of November.

“Brick House is one of my great-grandfather’s original cigar brands,” Newman said in the release. “First rolled in 1937, Brick House honors the home where my great-grandfather was born in 1875.”

What Makes a TAA Exclusive

If you’ve never shopped for these, here’s the short version. halfwheel describes the TAA as a membership group of about 80 retailers and roughly 40 manufacturers. Each year, around a dozen manufacturers make limited cigars for member shops under the TAA Exclusive Series Program, and they give at least 50 cents per cigar back to the organization. You can’t buy them at just any shop.

Other companies that have announced 2026 TAA releases, per halfwheel, include Espinosa, Joya de Nicaragua, Kristoff, Gurkha, Rocky Patel and Villiger. The TAA’s Exclusive Series site is the place to start if you’re trying to figure out which shops near you carry them.

Also This Week: Patina y Viso ReVerdigris

This one isn’t a TAA cigar, but it’s worth a mention. halfwheel reports that the Patina y Viso ReVerdigris hits shelves today, October 26. It’s the same 5 x 52 robusto as this year’s Verdigris, with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, from a new production run that’s been aged nine months. There are just 200 bundles of 10 at $13 per cigar.

The Cigar Guys Take

We love seeing aged tobacco at these prices. Five years of age on a $12 Nicaraguan puro is the kind of value that makes Brick House Beginnings the one we’d hunt for first. The Casa Carrillo is the curiosity pick. Five countries in one 58-ring cigar is a lot of moving parts, and we want to see if it all comes together.

Black Pink is the one most people will actually be able to find. Fuente used the TAA window as a soft launch, and now everyone gets a shot. If you’re a Fuente fan, it’s a good excuse to revisit the Opus X story while you wait for your shop’s allocation.
